Winter Recipe : Fondue Mac n' Cheese

Is there a comfort food better than a warm bowl of mac n' cheese? I made this dish for a small get-together with friends and it was a huge hit. Served with a big glass of red wine, it makes an unbelievably easy and delicious winter dinner. I made this dish without the bacon, being a veggie and all, but you are welcome to include it for some extra flavor.

Ingredients

1 package of any type of pasta you like...I used Tortiglioni
1/4 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup shredded Gruyere
1/4 cup Parmesan
4 strips of bacon, well cooked
2 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
1 1/2 cups vegetable stock
1 cup milk or half and half

Directions

This dish is best prepared in a deep saucepan. Chop your bacon into bite sized chunks and cook with the garlic and a little bit of butter. Once bacon is done cooking, remove it from pan and set aside. Add pasta to pan with vegetable stock and milk and cook over medium heat until pasta is al dente. Add cheeses, bacon, and garlic to pasta and allow it all to simmer until cheese is fully melted. Serve and enjoy!
